I started up the brand Oh My Honey in 2009 with the aspiration to design and sell 1950′s style dresses that had been skilfully handmade in the UK; giving customers the opportunity to have dresses made to their own measurements or even in their own fabrics. The dresses take the classic 1950′s elements, with a twist of modern style, and have been selling all over the world since the label was launched over 3 years ago.

Although I am fascinated by costumes from all eras, the style of the 50′s woman has always been my favourite. Glamorous, feminine and chic, the nipped in waists and full skirts make any women look fantastic, and I love making and wearing them!

All dresses are made to order either at my home studio, or in Brighton by one of my talented seamstresses, that way you know you will be getting a beautiful garment that has been made with care and attention.

As well as the ready to wear collection ; featuring designs that can be worn day or night in a vast selection of fabrics, prints and colours, Oh My Honey also has a Couture Collection with dresses made in high quality fabrics and intricate designs, and in November 2011 the first wedding dress collection was launched for 1950's inspired brides that want something a little different!

2012 has been a great year for both the Oh My Honey and Louise O'Mahony brands, my work has been featured several times on leading UK wedding blogs such at Rock and Roll Bride and Love My Dress , Vogue Italia and interviews for many fashion and sewing magazines and blogs. In May I decided to combine my two brands for a collection that I felt captured what I love most about the two styles and was selected as one of the designers to showcase their work at Brighton Fashion week in the Brighton Frocks show .

I pride myself on making beautifully made dresses and great customer care, if you ever have any questions, or need help selecting a dress or fabrics, don't hesitate to get in touch.
